Leverage

Hi all!

Would you like to spread the word about Leverage in your countries? Come and join the Leverage Street Teams! So far you can still apply to head your country.

What do the Street Teams do?
- The street teams are groups of fans from different countries, promoting the band in their country in various ways.
- The street team work will take place in a ‘street team members only’ section of the forum and through a Street Team Myspace site that will be set up.
Please note: This is serious work and the street team headers will hold a certain responsibility and will be in touch with Leverage’s management/record company/distributors.

Street Team Tasks
The Leverage Street Teams in the various countries will do online jobs as well as jobs in their areas/countries, which will include tasks such as
- handing out Leverage flyers/patches etc. at local gigs/events/festivals (Leverage or non-Leverage)
- Asking for Leverage performances in the your areas (for instance at local festivals or venues)
- Voting for Leverage songs/album online
- Writing online reviews of Leverage gigs and their album
- Wishing for Leverage songs to be played on the radio (local radio stations & online radio shows; I have someone at hand who could air Leverage in the United States on an online rock radio show)
- Advertising of the band’s official website and forum online (for instance through Myspace bulletins)
- Advertising Leverage’s songs (and videos to come?) online
- Requesting/writing articles/reviews about the band in local magazines/papers
- Asking for TV/radio appearances of the band
- Requesting single/album releases

I want to join a street team in my area!
If you are a registered member of this forum, you can join a street team in your country. Please do the following to apply:

1. Send an email with the following info to Tina (Tidal_Wave)@: leveragestreetteam@yahoo.com or send a pm

- full name (first name/last name)
- postal address including country (please state if you would like to head your country or be a member)
- email address
- sex (m/f)
- age including full birthdate
- reason why you would like to join the street team

2. Countries so far:
- Finland
- Germany
- UK
- USA (Texas)
--> Please note: For the USA you can apply for heading up your state! Texas is already headed, but we need leaders for the other states!

If you don’t see your country listed, means you can still apply to head your country! This post will be updated regularly with the new countries.

We kindly ask you to only apply if you are prepared to do some serious work to promote Leverage.

Important!
If we find that you in any way represent the band/street team in a manner that’s immature and/or harmful, you will receive a warning and be banned from your street team. So please make sure you are serious about this work before applying.
